Peter Whiting, M.B.A., B.A.
Peter is an outstanding business advisor who has a proven track
record of creating strategic and operational value for his clients in the international
cleantech and consumer goods sectors as well as the UK distressed SME sector.
Before co-founding Clean Capital Peter was a Business Unit Manager at The Foster’s Group, accountable for their European beer business. Prior to this he worked for Cadbury Schweppes and The Coca-Cola Company in a range of international strategy, marketing and country management roles, mostly focused on developing brands outside of the UK. Peter developed an investment and business turnaround skill-set as a buyer of under-performing SMEs with K2 Partners, buying, personally, and turning round a UK based industrial baking machinery manufacturer and rescuing a number of client businesses through formal insolvency procedures.
On a personal level Peter has a natural “coaching” style
underpinned by an exacting objectivity, rigorous analytical approach and
insistence on clarity of communication, which allows him to support his clients
very effectively and gain their trust rapidly. Peter’s motto is to “be
excellent” in all he does and he displays the utmost integrity and credibility
in all his dealings.
Peter holds an MBA from London Business School and a degree in Business Studies from Manchester Polytechnic. He speaks business German and French and conversational Spanish.
Stephan Decher, M.B.A., Dipl.Kfm
Stephan is a recognised player and expert in many of the key cleantech sectors and B2B software. He is an exceptional deal originator and creator of win-win situations with a record of successful negotiations.
Stephan has spent his career to date in senior roles in the Energy industry. He was a commodities analyst for S&P Platt's in the nineties and later continued his career as a Key Account Manager Central and Eastern Europe with the ETRM software house KWI, now part of Global Energy. After his Executive MBA at London Business School he joined New Energy Finance (today Bloomberg New Energy Finance) as its Commercial Director where he was instrumental in achieving exponential growth.
On a personal level Stephan is known for his serious and deep thinking. He cultivates an open, investigative communication style, which allows him to explore situations and identify salient issues effectively. Stephan has gained a reputation for following only the highest standards of personal and professional integrity.
Stephan holds an MBA from London Business School (2002-2004) and a Masters level degree in economics and business administration from Mannheim University, Germany. He speaks fluent German (mother tongue), Italian and English.
